Introduction to sociolinguistics from a variationist perspective. Analysis of multiple levels of linguistic variation (e.g., phonetic, morphosyntactic) and examination of correlations between linguistic variables and social factors as observed in empirical data from different varieties of Spanish. Given in Spanish.
