PhD Student, Hispanic Linguistics Teaching Assistant of Spanish Caleb Setorglo is a first-year PhD student in Hispanic Linguistics. Before joining UGA, he obtained a Diploma in Basic Education from Mount Mary College of Education, affiliated with the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and later earned a BA in French and Spanish from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds an MA in French and Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Alabama. His research interests include Sociophonetics, Language Acquisition, Bilingualism, and Multilingualism, with a particular interest in the relationship between Phonetics and language learning. In addition to language teaching and linguistic research, Caleb has a background in AWS cloud infrastructure and uses technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Docker to deploy applications.
