Lecturer of Spanish I am a lecturer of Spanish at the University of Georgia. I have a Master's degree from Ohio State University and a Licenciatura from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito. I have taught all levels of Spanish language, including Medical Spanish and Spanish for Heritage Speakers, throughout my more than two decades in the Department of Romance Languages. I was also an advisor for French, Italian, Portuguese, and the combination of these languages for six years. The UGA Career Center and student organizations have repeatedly recognized my positive influence on students’ academic and professional lives. I have written coauthored books, textbook reviews, creative work, and presentations at international conferences in Ecuador and Georgia, bringing distinctive cultural and interdisciplinary depth to Spanish-language instruction.
