Professor Baillehache earned a PhD from Rutgers University and Université Paris 8 in French Literature and Comparative Literature respectively. He teaches courses on 20th and 21st century French Literature, new media, electronic literature, and video games.

Dr. Rodrigues specializes in Contemporary Brazilian Literature. Her research interests include the (re) construction of Brazilian national identity, urban literature, internationalization of Brazilian literature, and prose fiction of the 21st century. Her articles have been published in Portuguese Cultural Studies, Portuguese Traditions, and Encruzilhadas/Crossroads. She is also interested in the teaching of Portuguese as a second language, specifically via the use of new media in foreign language learning and study abroad programs.
