Visit of Filmmaker Abderrahmane Sissako

African filmmaker Abderrahmane Sissako will visit Atlanta on Nov. 6 and 7, sponsored by UGA's Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, the French Consulate, and the Bronze Lens Film Festival. Friday events will include a workshop with Sissako from 5-6:30 pm and a screening of Heremakono (2002) at 7 pm (SCADshow), and on Saturday there will be a screening of Timbuktu (2014) at 4 pm followed by a public discussion with the filmmaker at 6 pm (Woodruff Arts Center).
