Milonga Tropical is a bi-annual event and is the culmination of dance skills learned by UGA faculty, staff, and students and community members in UGA Tango Club. UGA Tango Club was founded by Dr. Fuad Elhage, Lecturer in Romance Languages, and he partners with Stephanie Lynn, IT Senior Manager for Franklin College OIT,  to teach tango each semester. Milonga Tropical was created to highlight our students’ efforts and accomplishments and to celebrate diversity through dance. The event also promotes latin culture, local artists and dance companies. View more Milonga Tropical social dancing footage in our community.
